Welcome to SuperPro Asset Depreciation. Our program can save hundreds of dollars in accounting fees and assure that you are optimizing your depreciation benefits. This program requires some familiarity with Federal Income tax laws and federal depreciation guidelines. Complete instruction for these guidelines are available through the Internal Revenue Service.

SuperPro Asset Depreciation has an extensive on-line Help file. This file is included in the Typical installation and is omitted in the Compact installation. To choose the Help file choose the Help option from the toolbar and select SuperPro Asset Depreciation Help. Balloon Help screens are also available. Look for the [?] button on layouts that require data entry. These balloon help screens will explain the mechanics of the previewed screen. Return to the data entry screen by clicking anywhere on the help screen. Do not rename any of the files in SuperPro Asset Depreciation this will cause a lose of the relational functions of the software. There is, however, scripting that will allow you to delete the Help.SPS file if you choose to eliminate your on-line Help to conserve disk space. This file may also be printed prior to removal if desired.

The Windows based 32 bit version of SuperPro Asset Depreciation can be utilized in Windows 95/98/ME/2000/XP or Windows NT4.0 however is not a networkable program. For information concerning networking SuperPro Software contact Employer Resources. The software is created in a Windows XP environment and operates best in that operating system. Requires an Intel-compatible 486/233 computer with at least 32 MB of RAM. SuperPro Software has been designed for full screen viewing in 800 x 600 pixels. This option may be chosen by going to Settings then choosing the control panel and then choosing display and settings. Read this document to get an overview of SuperPro Software and the license agreement for use of the program. Chose the Auto Hide option in Settings and Task Bar for best viewing of SuperPro Asset Depreciation.

SuperPro Asset Depreciation includes a very valuable asset depreciation program. You can save hundreds of dollars annually in accounting fees and assure that you are taking advantage of all depreciation allowances on your federal income tax. There are three screen option buttons on the Menu screen. The Calendar button will open SuperPro Asset Depreciation 's calendar, the Quit button will exit SuperPro Asset Depreciation.
SetUp
The Company Setting control button will take you to the setup information you your company and for your fiscal year. The List icon will go to a list view of the entered assets. The Refresh icon will return the screen to normal viewing after a data entry. Click on the Save option button to save your setup information. The Menu button will return the screen to the Depreciation Menu screen. The Quit icon will exit SuperPro Asset Depreciation.

The Asset Details control button on the Menu screen will take you to the Asset Details entry screen. Refer to the [?] for assistance in entering the required information for each asset. You will need to reference the federal depreciation guideline and the instructions for use of federal forms #4562 part 11 for current year and #4562 part 111 for prior years to obtain information concerning appropriate conventions, methods, and corresponding depreciation schedules in order to use this program. There are seven option buttons available in the upper right corner of the screen. There are seven option icons at the top right of the Asset Details screen. The List icon will take the program to a list view of your entered assets. The Find button will place the program in the Find mode and will go to the Asset Find screen. All fields on the screen are searchable fields. Enter the item that you wish to find and choose the Continue button to the left of the screen to complete your find operation. Choose the Cancel button to cancel the find request. The Delete button will delete from the database the currently displayed asset. The Print button will print the currently displayed asset's information. The Add button will create a new record for entering a new asset description. The Menu button will return the screen to the Depreciation Menu screen. The Quit icon will exit SuperPro Asset Depreciation.

SuperPro Asset Depreciation can produce a detailed current asset depreciation report for each entered asset by choosing the Depreciation - Detail button from the Reports options on the Menu. You can produce a current assets depreciation summary report by category by choosing the Depreciation -Summary button from the Reports option on the Menu. You can produce year beginning detailed reports and year ending detailed reports from the Reports options.

SuperPro Asset Depreciation will produce your federal IRS form #4562 part 11 for the current year or #4562 part 111 for prior years. SuperPro Asset Depreciation will produce your federal form #4797, Part 1, Sales of Property.

SuperPro Asset Depreciation provides a calendar. To view the calendar anywhere in the program choose Open Calendar from the drop down option in the Find menu on the toolbar. You can advance the calendar by the month by clicking on the desired month in the month tab buttons at the bottom right of the calendar screen. The advance arrow will advance the calendar to the start of the next year and the reverse arrow will return the calendar to the previous year. The Today button will return the calendar to the current day's date. Holidays are displayed on the left side of the calendar screen. To close the calendar click on the Close button at the top right corner of the calendar screen.

1. License
This License allows you to:
(a) Use one copy of the Software on a single computer at a time. To use the Software means that the Software is either loaded in the temporary memory (i.e., RAM) of a computer or installed on the permanent memory of a computer (i.e., hard disk, etc.)
(b) Make one copy of the Software in machine readable form solely for backup purposes. As an express condition of this License, you must reproduce on each copy any copyright notice or other proprietary notice that is on the original copy supplied by Employer Resources.
(c) Permanently transfer all your rights under this License to another party by providing to such party all copies of the Software licensed under this License together with a copy of this License and the accompanying written materials, provided that the other party reads and agrees to accept the terms and conditions of the License.
2. Restrictions
The Software contains trade secrets in its human perceivable form and, to protect them, you may not REVERSE ENGINEER, DECOMPILE, DISASSEMBLE OR OTHERWISE REDUCE THE SOFTWARE TO ANY HUMAN PERCEIVABLE FORM. YOU MAY NOT MODIFY, ADAPT, TRANSLATE, RENT, LEASE, LOAN OR CREATE DERIVATIVE WORKS BASED UPON THE SOFTWARE OR ANY PART THEREOF.
3. Termination
This License is effective until terminated. This License will terminate immediately without notice from Employer Resources or judicial resolution if you fail o comply with any provision of this License. Upon such termination you must destroy the Software, all accompanying written materials and all copies thereof, and Section 6,7, and 8 will survive termination.
4. Passwords
The Software licensed to you contains features which are protected by certain password. You are not authorized to enter, remove, or change such password, and only Employer Resources is authorized to enter, remove or change such passwords.
5. Export Law Assurance
You agree that neither the Software nor any direct product thereof is being or will be shipped, transferred or re-exported, directly, into any country prohibited by the United States Export Administration Act and the regulations thereunder or will be used for any purpose prohibited by the Act.
6. Limited Warranty
Employer Resources warrants for a period of ninety days from your date of purchase that (i) the media on which the Software is recorded will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use, and (ii) the Software as provided by Employer Resources will substantially conform to Employer Resources published specifications for the Software. Employer Resources entire liability and your sole and exclusive remedy for any breach of the foregoing limited warranty will be, at Employer Resources option, replacement of the media, refund of the purchase price or repair or replacement of the Software.
THIS LIMITED WARRANTY IS THE ONLY WARRANTY PROVIDED BY EMPLOYER RESOURCES AND ITS LICENSORS EXPRESSLY DISCLAIM ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE WITH REGARD TO THE SOFTWARE AND ACCOMPANYING WRITTEN MATERIALS. 7. Limitation of Remedies and Damages
In no event will Employer Resources, it parent or subsidiaries or any of the licensors, directors, officers, employees or affiliates of any of the foregoing be liable to you for any consequential, incidental, indirect or special damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information and the like), whether foreseeable or unforeseeable, arising out of the use of or inability to use the Software or accompanying written materials, regardless of the basis of the claim and even if Employer Resources representative has advised of the possibility of such damage. Employer Resources liability to you for direct damages for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will be limited to the greater of $500 or the money paid for the Software that caused the damage.
THIS LIMITATION WILL NOT APPLY IN CASE OF PERSONAL INJURY ONLY WHERE AND TO THE EXTENT THAT APPLICABLE LAW REQUIRES SUCH LIABILITY. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF LIABILITY FOR CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, THE LIMITATION ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
8. General
This License will be construed under the laws of the State of Vermont, except for that body of law dealing with conflicts of law. If any provision of this License shall be held by a court of competent jurisdiction to be contrary to law, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permissible, and the remaining provisions of this License will remain in full force and effect. If the software is supplied to the United States Government, the Software is classified as restricted computer software as defined in clause 52.227-19 of the FAR. The United States Governments rights to the Software are as provided in clause 52.227-19 of the FAR.
